Jeju-Do, South Korea

Jeju-Do, South Korea

Chris.

Some will say that life is calm river driving you to your destiny. My river is far away to be calm, even the holidays are quite busy. Already 10 days in holidays and I've not seen time flying. We went with my sister who visited us with her family to the north of the country to see humpback whale and puffins.

I've been thinking for a while to close this blog as I just don't have time to post or even to read your blogs... Some say it's life. I think I will just take the due rest during my holidays and I will come back after a month or something. We are preparing ourselves to go to BOSTON and then Bar Harbor in Maine.

To come back to our friends, I was in a very difficult are to find, although Dominic from "Blogue photos de Dominic Gendron" found the country. I was in a small island of South Korea called Jeju-Do and although it was not the good season I still managed to see 68 species among which 55 new ones.

So here are more pictures and I hope I will be able to be back fully mid-August.

Cheers,

Chris.

#12 Larry 2013-08-10 23:30 That Common Kingfisher is a beauty! I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort into your photography and blog.I know the feeling of wanting to quit and I know I don't put as much work into it as you do.I always say don't make any final decisions-just take a break and see what happens.

#11 Craver-Vii 2013-07-26 19:09 A closed blog would make me sad. But I hope you get the time you need to rest and be refreshed.

I just realized that the first photo of the Kingfisher is an action shot as he was busy doing his own "shooting." Funny.

Boston...I love Boston and the coast of Maine. It has been nearly 10 years since I went, and have been to the city 4 times in past years...marvelous opportunity for you and the family.
Enjoy and stay in touch as best that you can~
